BHC comprises five divisions: Animal Health, Consumer Care, Diabetes CareBayer HealthCare Pharma and Radiology and Interventional.

The Animal Health Division is one of the leading and most successful global suppliers of veterinary specialties and ranks internationally. There are also medications for flea-control and drugs to treat infectious diseases in livestock and companion animals.

The Consumer Care Division is among the largest marketers of over-the-counter (OTC) medications and nutritional supplements in the world, occupying third place in the global OTC market.

The Diabetes Care Division is a global leader in the field of blood glucose monitoring systems, providing devices and test strips for more than 40 years. These products are used by diabetics to safely and conveniently monitor their blood glucose levels both at home and on the move.

The Bayer HealthCare Pharma Division is today the highest-selling pharmaceuticals company in Germany and holds a worldwide leading position in its main therapeutic areas. The focus is on prescription medicines. In the UK/Ireland, the division combines its strengths in two business units: Specialty Medicine (consisting of Haematology, Neurology, Oncology and Ophthalmology) and General Medicine (including Women’s Health).

The Radiology and Interventional Division combines two successful businesses, Diagnostics Imaging and MEDRAD, into a single source for radiology, interventional and equipment support services.
